When I came to SOR I had been diagnosed with osteoporosis. My doctor predicted that it would continue and he wanted me to consider getting on medication to improve my bone density. After about a year of regular therapeutic exercise at SOR, I had another routine bone density test. The results indicated my bones are now within normal range! There was no indication of osteoporosis! I also feel so much better by no longer feeling “achey”and stiff, and my posture has also improved. In the past I have joint fitness clubs but never followed through. There is something special about getting the individual attention, guidance and support of the SOR staff and that works!

Spine and Orthopedic Rehab is one of those hidden jewels and underutilized resources of the medical community. I recently viewed firsthand their facility and staff when I became their patient for the treatment of shoulder pain. I was clearly skeptical that I could be helped, having had nightly shoulder pain for the previous six years and more recently a painful bursitis. After three months of therapy I am now pain-free and sleeping through the night. Best of all, they equipped me with a plan of action and exercises to prevent future injuries.
“Impressive” is the only way to describe their positive approach to the treatment of both acute and chronic pain. I was encouraged to see them hold patients to a higher standard. If I have to take therapy at any place it would be at Spine and Orthopedic Rehab. It is a nice clean place with caring people. You get the attention and help you need to help you get better. Also you are encouraged to do your best. I have had therapy at two different places before coming here and was not too happy with neither one.
